My Little Brother and His Little Appendix

Andrew is having surgery in one hour to have his appendix taken out. It must be a family thing. My dad, older brother and I no longer have ours. This way when we decide to hike up Mount Everest we won't have to worry about having an appendicitis. 'Cause that could happen.

Please say a prayer for a safe surgery and a quick recovery for Andrew. Thank you!

Poor Drewdle. He was destined for an appendectomy. Let's pray there is no emergency gall bladder removal coming soon. I think you should tell about your year of surgeries and how they each began with the furious feet-rubbing technique to remove the dire stomach pain. And how that year also ushered in Moolenium Crunch, which plagues me still.

Andrew is alive and well! He called last night to say he was bored. That's a good sign. It's also a good sign that he couldn't wait to eat a hamburger. Typical teenage boy!

Thanks for all your prayers!

And yes, I did have a string of surgeries back in 1999-2000. When my tummy hurts I rub my feet. When I eat ice cream I make sure it's something good like Bluebell's Moolenium Crunch. And then I get fat.

Katy,

So glad to read Drew is on the road to recovery. It is great news.

I also wanted to let you know I have become a big fan of your blog. I really like your sense of humor and fearlessness in writing about things great and small.

Hope you bring all that talent back to Komikazee soon. We could use your energy and talent to liven things up.

Hope to see your writings there soon.
